In Feb/ March 2011 Dave took his first steps towards becoming a competent paragliding pilot, during a visit to Pokhara, Nepal. Still early in the planning stages, this expedition promises to be one of the most exciting in Expedition1000.

Dave and Alex Ledger from Skyschool eventually plan to glide, thermal and fly their way 1000 miles across Nepal, using air currents and thermals from the Himalayan range, in one of the most technical and potentially hazardous journeys possible.
