The first time anyone had travelled the length of Britain by skate/longboard, this 896 mile, 34 day journey was a warm-up for a trans-Australia skate journeys, which ultimately broke the world record for the longest journey by skateboard.
BATH TO LONDON
JUNE 2010
Sarah Outen and I covered 150 miles along the Kennet & Avon Canal and the River Thames by SUP, finishing this section of the journey beneath Tower Bridge on World Ocean's Day. Supported by the Blue Project, Aquapac and Starboard.
LAKE GENEVA CROSSING

The first Stand Up Paddleboard crossing of Lake Geneva, 89km from Villeneuve to Geneva. Completed alongside Sebastian Terry.
SUP MARTINIQUE
DECEMBER 2014
A 150 mile, 12 day circumnavigation of the Caribbean island of Martinique, the first time this particular island-rounding had been completed by Stand Up Paddleboard. Spike Reid, Ben Arthur, Rob & Robyn Green were teammates on this one.

A short canoe down the gloriously beautiful San Marcos River near Austin with Rowan Wakeford, Texas. Snakes, hammocks, little rapids and a whole lot of peace.

The first Stand Up Paddleboard descent of Tennessee's Wolf River, the main water provided to the city of Memphis.
WALKING THE WEST BANK

What initially began as the 12th journey of Expedition1000, this loop of the Dead Sea alongside Leon McCarron finished prematurely with a broken foot. Still, those three weeks in the Palestinian West Bank and Jordan Valley will remain with me forever.
