105 MILES FROM SWAMP TO THE MISSISSIPPI | April 7 - 14 2012

This is a trailer for a 12:32 minute documentary available in 2 parts on this channel. A swarthy team of paddlers attempt to descend the Wolf River by Stand Up Paddleboards and canoes, the first time the river has ever been paddled in one go.

In April 2012 Dave joined a team of paddlers from Memphis Tennessee and his friend Rod Wellington for a historical descent of the Wolf River from its source near Baker’s Pond in northern Mississippi to its confluence with the mighty Mississippi River near downtown Memphis.

Supporting Memphis-based Operation Broken Silence, a collection of abolitionists who are speaking and acting against the growing threats of mass atrocities and modern slavery in our world today, SUPAS (Standing Up Against Slavery) was a successful paddle with a purpose.
