On 7th September 2018 Emms and I woke up in different places, then headed to the woods.
The Two Woods Estate near Pulborough in Sussex is, we were told, Europe’s biggest Redwood forest. Our friends and families converged, the sun fended off dark clouds and rings slid (almost) onto fingers. Popcorn and prosecco was dished out and the troops then made their way to the nearby YesBus, for a weekend celebration on a site that we’d spent so much time developing this same year.
What a beautiful weekend. The beginning of a new adventure.
